This midcentury-inspired sputnik pendant from Bel Air Lighting is designed to suit a variety of home decor styles from transitional to modern. The pendant is a decorative hanging light that works well in dining areas, kitchens, and foyer entrances. The fixture is constructed of black-finished metal and includes a circular ceiling plate and a series of eight moveable support arms that reach out in a starburst fashion to hold glass globe shades in place. The clear glass shades feature decorative dimple impressions, house a single light bulb each, and are open at the end for easy access to change the bulbs. Each arm can be adjusted for directional lighting, and to orient the fixture into a linear shape for use over a dining table or kitchen island. The pendant body hangs from matching black extension rods, of which multiples extras are included for an adjustable hanging height.
