Using geo-location information, ASCEND calculates Astronomic ON/OFF dusk and dawn times to provide the most accurate lighting schedule possible. It even adjusts automatically for Daylight Saving Time. ASCEND includes a battery backup that keeps time and date information in place for up to three days in the event of a power loss.
